I Organized My Fabric Stash!

I got this wonderful idea here using foam core board.
I instantly knew that this was the answer to my never-ending quest to organize my fabric in a practical, accessible way. I'm always picking up cotton remnants--I just can't help myself! But then I forget what I have, and it just sits on a shelf or in a tub. But not any more . . .Yay! Many thanks to The Little Coffee Bean!

Fun Finds at JoAnn's

I stopped by JoAnn's after work today. I needed to get terra cotta pots for my kids to paint for Mother's Day. Of course, I had to browse around, and I couldn't resist these fun finds.

I just had to have this new fleece. It is so soft, and is covered with a bear paw prints pattern.

And I think the little spring birds are so cute. I'm going to dress up our main bathroom with them.

Mid-Week Blahs

As a teacher, the middle of the week at this time of year is not a fun time. I am desperately tired, and it seems forever before the weekend. One thing that helps me psychologically get through is to plan a trip to JoAnn's on Thursday evenings. I am addicted to fabric, beads, ribbon, and buttons so this plan gives me something to look forward to. And my 50% coupon is tucked safely away in my purse.

Silly, I know, but it works for me. Looking forward to visiting JoAnn's tomorrow night!
